English Graduate Unqualified Teacher: Person Specification
- English Graduate Unqualified Teacher – Ideal candidate will have achieved 2:1 or higher in an English related degree OR hold a strong A-Level in English (A or A*)
- Some experience working with young people in some capacity is desirable but not essential
- A can-do attitude as well as an enthusiastic attitude towards learning
- The ideal English Graduate Unqualified Teacher for this post will use their enthusiasm for English—whether it's Shakespeare, spoken word, or syntax— to help engage and empower KS3 to KS5 pupils

As an English Graduate Unqualified Teacher, you will:
- Plan and teach lessons on a partial time-table whilst you also learn the practice of what makes an exceptional teacher
- This English Graduate Unqualified Teacher role is full-time. You will follow the school week, working Monday-Friday; 8:30am to 4:00pm daily during term-time.
- Build meaningful relationships with students that will positively influence their school experience
- Be present in lessons to aid learning outcomes set by the teacher
- Enjoy the opportunity apply your creativity in engaging lessons that enrich learners into the world of reading and writing
