We are looking for a Customer Service Export Coordinator to become a key member of our growing team in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in international shipping, export documentation, customer service, and sales support who thrives on delivering excellent service to customers across global markets.
Working closely with customers, distributors, agents, freight forwarders and internal departments, you'll play a vital role in ensuring orders are processed efficiently and shipped worldwide with accuracy and professionalism.
What You'll Be Doing;
- Manage customer orders from receipt through to delivery
- Communicate with customers, distributors, agents and freight forwarders across international markets
- Process customer orders accurately using internal systems
- Coordinate with production, logistics and other internal teams to ensure orders progress smoothly
- Arrange international shipments and manage export logistics
- Prepare and check export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists and shipping paperwork
- Ensure compliance with international shipping requirements and export regulations
- Respond to customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally
- Process customer complaints and support effective resolutions
- Provide sales support to the Head of Sales and wider international sales team
- Produce accurate market and sales information to support business reporting
What We're Looking For;
- Strong experience in export shipping and international logistics is essential
- Proven knowledge of export documentation and shipping processes
- Previous experience within a customer service, sales support or order processing role
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confident telephone manner
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Desirable;
- Experience working with international distributors and overseas customers
- Understanding of Incoterms and global shipping requirements
