Your Role as an EYFS / ECT Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS Framework
  • Create a vibrant learning environment that promotes exploration, play and independence
  • Support children’s progress through continuous provision, structured teaching and outdoor learning
  • Deliver early phonics, reading, writing and maths with confidence
  • Observe, assess and track pupil development across all areas of learning
  • Adapt provision to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and higher-attaining pupils
  • Build positive partnerships with parents and carers
  • Contribute to the wider life and values of the school

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold QTS or be an ECT working towards achieving QTS
  • Have a genuine passion for Early Years education
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of early literacy and numeracy development
  • Be reflective, proactive and committed to professional growth
  • Show confidence in assessment and tracking within EYFS
  • Be nurturing, enthusiastic and committed to high standards
