A vibrant and supportive Birmingham school is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teacher / ECT to join their team. What's the role?

As an EYFS Teacher / ECT, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality early years curriculum that supports children's development across all areas of learning. You will create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment and will foster independence, curiosity and a love of learning.

What are the key responsibilities?

  • Plan and deliver creative, play-based learning, in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support children's social, emotional and academic development
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress and adapt provision as needed
  • Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, parents and carers

What are we looking for?

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Experience of teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • A strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
  • A creative and reflective approach to teaching and learning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
