Facilities Maintenance Technician

Salary-£27,495.00 per annum

Shift pattern; Monday-Friday

Hours; 8am-4pm

About the role

We are looking for a committed and skilled individual with a good understanding of building maintenance to join our ever-growing facilities team who support our different warehouses.

The successful candidate will operate across 5 sites and act as first responders to maintenance issues. No two days are the same and you will need to be flexible in your approach to tasks and problem solving of building faults.

Here's What You Can Expect to Be Doing

• Conduct Planned Maintenance inspections and complete relevant paperwork
• Ensuring all reactive maintenance/jobs are completed in a timely manner
• Ensure sites decoration is in line with required standards and that programmes for titivation are adhered to
• Ensure that the best and most relevant service is delivered in line with reasonable costs and budgets
• Liaise with contractors and safely induct them onto site
• Ensure that we remain compliant will all legislation and building regulations
• Ensure that building equipment is maintained as required to ensure the longevity of kit
• You will follow an on-call rota

A Few Things About You

• Demonstrate practical talent for semi-skilled maintenance and repair
• Able to work with minimal supervision and on own initiative, either in a team or alone
• Demonstrate a commitment to high service delivery
• Have a full UK Driving License
• Able to demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills to a standard appropriate to post
• Experience in completion of work in accordance with approved codes of practice and legislative practice
• Experience working in Warehouses
