Our esteemed client is a well-known global e-commerce corporation boasting a workforce of over 700 professionals across 12 strategic hubs around the globe. Main duties: 

  • Provide a Help Desk service for all company systems users, ensuring response rate and times are within the IT Department KPI targets month by month
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with company IT services support partners, and especially PGG (all web site applications), CPiO (Sage X3 ERP), Abtec (network support, security, internet access, O365 Teams and telephony), Structured Cabling Services (network cabling)
  • Using service support partners where appropriate
  • Maintain and complete the Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual checklists as required
  • Maintain an accurate Equipment Register, detailing all equipment and who it is allocated to
  • Maintain an accurate Software Register, detailing all software licenses and who they are allocated to
  • Keep accurate records of issues, resolutions and general tasks using the software application provided
  • Create and maintain detailed “how to” instructions for any key system set-up and support tasks, suitable to ensure a competent knowledge transfer process to other staff if required
  • Set up new users, or remove redundant users, from the network, email and telephony services as required by the business
  • Create and maintain a secure, accurate and current Password Register, ensuring approved personnel can access and administer equipment and software applications that are password controlled
  • Working under your own initiative, but receiving guidance from the Senior Business Systems Analyst or Head of IT Services on work priorities where necessary

About you:

  • A minimum of 2 years, and ideally 3 years, in a similar role
  • Sage X3 Administration would be highly advantageous
  • Management of small projects would be highly advantageous
  • Working knowledge of VMWARE or similar virtualization software would be advantageous
  • Salesforce web site administration and integration would be advantageous
  • WAN and LAN support for over 100 staff
  • Good working knowledge of MS Windows Server 2012 or higher, Active Directory, MS Office 365, MS Windows 10, Android, iOS, MS Exchange or MS365 mail
