KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a Diesel FLT Driver for our client based in Middlewich.

As a Diesel Forklift Counterbalance Driver your working days and hours are:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00am - 16:30pm

The rate of pay is:

• £13.00 p/h

The duties and responsibilities as a Diesel FLT Driver are:

• Operate a diesel counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently
• Load and unload deliveries of fencing materials
• Transport materials across the yard and production areas
• Ensure accurate stock movement and placement
• Carry out daily safety checks and routine maintenance on the FLT
• Support general yard duties including manual handling and housekeeping
• Work closely with warehouse and production teams to meet deadlines
• Adhere to all company health & safety procedures and standards

The ideal candidate for a Diesel FLT Driver would need:

• Valid Diesel Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB or equivalent)
• Proven experience operating a diesel FLT in a yard or warehouse environment
• Strong understanding of safe working practices
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking

Desirable (but not essential):

• Experience in fencing, construction, or manufacturing sectors
• Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment checks and minor maintenance
