KPI Recruiting Ltd are looking for experienced FLT / Warehouse Operatives to join our client’s busy recycling facility. This is a great opportunity to secure long-term, stable work with progression available.

As a FLT / Warehouse Operatives you will be working a 12 hour shift of either days or nights

Hours: 06:00 unitl 18:00 or 18:00 until 06:00

Pay: £12.50 per hour rising to £13.00 per hour after probation period.

You’ll operate a Forklift Truck (FLT) and support general warehouse and recycling operations — working both on the truck and on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Forklift Truck to move pallets and recyclable materials
• Sort and process recyclable items (plastics, metals, and general materials)
• Feed plastic wrap into recycling machinery
• Use scanners to detect metal and ensure safety compliance
• Carry out manual handling and general warehouse duties
• Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions

Requirements

• Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance or Reach)
• Previous experience in a warehouse, recycling, or production environment preferred
• Good understanding of health and safety
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Reliable, flexible, and able to work as part of a team

Additional Information

• Rotating day/night shifts once trained
• Occasional overtime on Fridays (workload dependent)
• PPE required: Safety boots and hi-vis vest
