KPI Recruiting is on the hunt for Food Production Operatives to join the Cutting Room at our Ciients site based in Nantwich. 

Shifts available for a Food production Operative:

• Working 5 days out of 7, Monday to Sunday. 1 week in advance rota. 
• 6am - 4pm

Your duties and responsibilities as a Food Production Operative are:

• Safely lift and handle cheese blocks weighing up to 25kg.
• Handball cheese onto the cutting machine.
• Operate cheese-cutting machinery efficiently and safely.
• Prepare cheese for vacuum packing and further processing
• Maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the preparation process.
• Operate vacuum packing equipment as required.
• Package cheese products in accordance with company standards and specifications.
• Accurately make up customer orders.
• Monitor and record stock levels and report discrepancies.
• Adhere strictly to hygiene and food safety protocols at all times.
• Ensure cleanliness of the cutting room and equipment is maintained.

The job requirements for the Food Production Operatives are:

• Physically fit with the ability to lift and move 25kg regularly.
• Previous experience in a food production or warehouse environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Attention to detail and a commitment to food hygiene and safety.
• Comfortable working in a mild temperature-controlled environment.
• Previous experience working with cheese or in dairy production (Desirable)
• Food Safety Level 2 certificate (or willingness to obtain) (Desirable)
