KPI Recruiting is on the hunt for Food Production Operatives to join the Coldstore Department at our Ciients site based in Nantwich. 

Shifts available for a Food production Operative:

• Working 5 days out of 7, Monday to Sunday. 1 week in advance rota. 
• 6am - 4pm

Your duties and responsibilities as a Food Production Operative are:

• Handballing products weighing up to 25kg.
• Debagging and deboxing cheese products accurately and efficiently.
• Preparing cheese for transfer to the next production stage.
• Cleaning cheese after it has been removed from packaging.
• Handling mouldy cheese on occasion, following appropriate hygiene and safety procedures.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area at all times.
• Adhering to health and safety standards, especially in a chilled environment.
• Assisting with general coldstore duties as required by supervisors

The job requirements for the Food Production Operatives are:

• Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg regularly.
• Willingness to work in a chilled environment.
• Good attention to detail and hygiene.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Previous experience in a food handling or coldstore environment (Desirable).
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices (Desirable).
