Duties:
KPI Recruiting is on the hunt for Food Production Operatives to join the Dairy Department at our Clients site based in Nantwich.
Shifts available for a Food production Operative:
- Working 5 days out of 7, Monday to Sunday. 1 week in advance rota.
- 06:00- 18:00 or 18:00- 06:00
The rate of pay as a Food Production Operative is:
- £12.71 p/h
Your duties and responsibilities as a Food Production Operative are:
- Pack finished products efficiently and accurately
- Prepare products for dispatch in line with customer requirements
- Ensure all items are labelled and packaged correctly
- Maintain a clean and organised packing area
- Safely lift and move products weighing up to 30k
- Follow manual handling procedures at all times
- Assist with moving stock and materials throughout the production area
- Work safely and effectively in a warm manufacturing environment
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- Wear the required PPE at all times
- Stack finished products onto pallets securely and safely
- Ensure pallets are stable and prepared for storage or transport
- Wrap pallets where require
- Weigh products accurately using industrial scale
- Record weights where required
- Ensure products meet specified weight tolerances
- Operate and monitor the plough production equipment following training
- Ensure products are processed correctly
- Report any equipment faults or production issues immediately
- Inspect products for quality and consistency
- Remove any defective or damaged products from production
- Report quality concerns to supervisors promptly
- Maintain high production standards throughout each shift
The job requirements for the Food Production Operatives are:
- Previous production or warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work
- Able to lift up to 30kg safely
- Comfortable working in a hot environment
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to follow health and safety procedures at all times
