Food Production Operative

Location: YO43
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Shift Pattern: Rotating weekly shifts

Shift Pattern

• Week 1: 9:00am – 5:00pm

• Week 2: 6:00am – 2:00pm

• Week 3: 2:00pm – 10:00pm

• Shifts rotate on a weekly basis

The Role

We are currently recruiting for reliable and hardworking Food Production Operatives to join a busy cultured food product manufacturing environment in the YO43 area.

You will be working on a cultured product filling and packing line, carrying out manual filling and lidding of containers while maintaining high standards of hygiene, quality and Health & Safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Working on a cultured product filling line.

• Manually loading and filling 2kg, 5kg and 10kg containers.

• Lidding containers as part of the production process.

• Following production instructions and maintaining quality standards.

• Maintaining a high standard of personal and workplace hygiene.

• Wearing appropriate food production clothing and PPE, including hair nets.

• Following all Health & Safety and food hygiene procedures.

• Working efficiently as part of a team to meet production targets.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a good standard of personal hygiene.

• Have good agility and mobility.

• Be comfortable carrying out repetitive production tasks.

• Have a reliable and hardworking attitude.

• Be punctual and committed to regular attendance.

• Be able to work in a food production environment.

• Have an average level of English, sufficient to understand training, instructions and Health & Safety requirements.

• Be flexible and willing to work the rotating shift pattern.

• Be able to work well as part of a team.
