Garden Labourer
Location: Knutsford
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
Pay: £12.21 per hour

KPI Recruiting are looking for a Garden Labourer to join our client’s team in Knutsford. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to be a General Gardener / Labourer. This outdoor role is primarily focused on the care, maintenance, and handling of lettuces throughout their growth cycle. Ideal for someone who enjoys physical work in all weather conditions and takes pride in working with plants.

Key Responsibilities:

• General gardening and manual labour tasks
• Hoeing, weeding, and maintaining growing areas
• Regular watering and plant care
• Assisting in the growing process of lettuces
• Harvesting, moving, and boxing lettuces for distribution
• Keeping work areas clean and organised
• Following health and safety procedures at all times

Ideal Candidate:

• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Basic understanding of gardening or willingness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and with a strong work ethic
• Previous experience in horticulture or farm work (desirable but not essential)
