Character specification:
- Recently achieved a 2:1 or above from a good UK University
- Patient, friendly graduate looking to gain long-term, full-time classroom experience
- Keen to work with students with a range of needs to support academic development
- Able to commute to Northallerton
- Enthusiastic to learn to help manage classroom behaviour and ensure progress
- Previous classroom TA or Mentoring experience is preferred but not essential
Role specification:
- Full-time supply-based roles in an Ofsted rated 'Good' Secondary School in Northallerton

A Good Secondary School in Northallerton is keen to deploy several passionate graduate Behaviour Management Mentors across different departments in their school. Full relevant training in supporting behaviour management will be given. The school offer graduates the opportunity to build classroom experience, working with students with a range of needs.
The Northallerton school is in need of graduate Mentors to help manage classroom behaviour among some of their students, and to help promote a passion for learning and knowledge. The school welcomes over 1000 students from diverse backgrounds, with a key focus on inclusivity and a desire to meet their students' varying needs. As a Mentor, you will play a role in helping promote a supportive ethos, and interest in subjects to boost progress.
The school is located in Northallerton, near a main road with good transport links - perfect for drivers with a car. The role is full-time, Mon-Fri 8.30-4pm.
