Manchester Specialist SEN School – Up to £550 per week – Full-Time
Are you a Psychology graduate with a 2:1 or higher who wants to build experience as a Graduate Behaviour Mentor?
Do you have experience in youth work, sports coaching, or mentoring that could help you succeed as a Graduate Behaviour Mentor?
Would you like to support young people with SEMH needs while developing skills for a future in psychology, SEN teaching, or mental health as a Graduate Behaviour Mentor?
A specialist SEN secondary school in Manchester is seeking a Graduate Behaviour Mentor to join their team in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident graduate who can support children with additional needs.
The Role – Graduate Behaviour Mentor:
As a Graduate Behaviour Mentor, you will support students aged 11–16 with SEMH needs, including anxiety, ADHD, and behavioural challenges. Working as a Graduate Behaviour Mentor, you will run 1:1 sessions, deliver small group work, and promote emotional regulation. You will also act as a Graduate Behaviour Mentor in class, supporting learning and behaviour management.

Ideal Candidate – Graduate Behaviour Mentor:
- Psychology or related degree (2:1 or higher)
- Confident personality with resilience to thrive as a Graduate Behaviour Mentor
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, or youth work is valuable
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
