Looking for a graduate opportunity where your personality, patience and determination can genuinely change lives?
Not every young person thrives in a traditional classroom. Some need a different approach, a positive role model and someone who believes in their potential.
KPI Education is searching for two ambitious graduates to join a specialist Alternative Provision setting in Crewe, supporting young people who face barriers to learning, including behavioural, emotional and social challenges.
This isn't your typical classroom support role.
You'll be working with pupils who need consistency, encouragement and a fresh perspective on education. Your ability to build relationships, inspire confidence and celebrate small victories could make a lasting difference.
What Will Your Day Look Like?
No two days will be the same. You'll become an important part of a supportive education team, helping young people rediscover their confidence and enthusiasm for learning.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building meaningful relationships with pupils who have struggled within mainstream education.
- Providing individual mentoring and targeted support to young people with SEMH needs.
- Helping pupils develop emotional regulation, social skills and positive coping strategies.
- Supporting creative, practical and academic learning activities.
- Encouraging positive behaviour through consistency, patience and clear boundaries.
- Working alongside experienced educators to support personalised learning plans.
- Helping young people develop the confidence and skills needed for their next steps in education.
Could You Be the Person We're Looking For?
We're not simply searching for graduates with classroom experience. We're looking for people with the right attitude, character and motivation.
You could be an excellent fit if you:
- Hold a university degree in Psychology, Criminology, Sociology, Education, Sports Science or another subject.
- Have a genuine interest in supporting young people with behavioural, emotional or additional learning needs.
- Are confident, approachable, patient and emotionally resilient.
- Can remain calm and professional when faced with challenging situations.
- Enjoy building relationships and motivating others.
- Have experience in sports coaching, mentoring, youth work, tutoring or similar activities (desirable).
- Hold a UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle (advantageous).
Previous school experience isn't essential. Your ability to connect with young people and your commitment to making a difference are what matter most.
Why Choose This Opportunity?
This position offers much more than a graduate job.
You'll gain valuable frontline experience working with young people with complex needs, developing transferable skills that can support future careers in:
- Educational Psychology
- Teaching and Teacher Training
- SEN and Inclusion
- Youth Justice and Social Work
- Behavioural and Therapeutic Support
What You'll Receive:
- £24,000–£26,000 annual salary or equivalent weekly pay.
- A full-time, long-term opportunity in a specialist educational environment.
- Practical experience supporting vulnerable young people.
- Opportunities to develop your behaviour management and communication skills.
- A meaningful role where your contribution can have a real impact.
