Graduate Computer Science Teaching Assistant
This role is perfect for aspiring teachers who want to develop their skills in a thriving school environment before progressing onto a teacher training pathway leading to a fully funded PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting students across the Computer Science department
- Delivering targeted interventions and academic support
- Assisting teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Helping students build confidence and achieve their full potential
- Gaining first-hand experience of life in a successful secondary school
What We're Looking For:
- A 2:1 degree or above in Computer Science or a related subject
- A Levels (or equivalent qualifications) with passes achieved
- GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent)
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- A genuine passion for education and helping young people succeed
- An ambition to progress into teaching
