 Location: Chelsea, Central London
 Contract: Full-Time | Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
 Salary: £500 – £600 per week
 Start Date: September 2025

A welcoming primary school in Chelseais seeking a Graduate Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team this September. You’ll play an active role in helping Nursery and Reception pupils develop their communication, social, and early academic skills, while ensuring they feel supported and cared for in their first years at school.

Main Responsibilities - Graduate Early Years Teaching Assistant

  • Provide day-to-day classroom support across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Lead small group and 1:1 activities in phonics, reading, and early maths
  • Encourage confidence, curiosity, and independence through play-based learning
  • Offer nurturing emotional and social support to pupils
  • Contribute to preparing engaging resources and classroom displays
  • Assist with supervision during break and lunch duties

 Candidate Profile - Graduate Early Years Teaching Assistant

  • A degree in any subject (Psychology, Education, Child Development, or related fields are especially valued)
  • Warm, empathetic, and enthusiastic personality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • An interest in pursuing a long-term career in education or child-focused professions
  • Experience with children is beneficial but not essential
