Duties:

Graduate Early Years Practitioner
Private Nursery, Coventry

• 2:1 degree or above in Early Childhood Studies, Education, Psychology or a related subject

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday

• Earn £100–£125 per day

• November 2026 start

• Support children's learning and development through creative, play-based activities

• Provide individualised support to children who require additional guidance

• Work alongside experienced Early Years practitioners

• Gain valuable hands-on experience within a professional nursery environment

Vacancy Details / Responsibilities – Graduate Early Years Practitioner

• Support children's learning and care within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

• Assist with planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities.

• Encourage children's communication, language and social development.

• Promote confidence, independence and positive relationships through play.

• Observe children's progress and contribute to developmental records.

• Provide one-to-one support to children who need additional guidance.

• Help maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

• Work collaboratively with nursery staff to support children's developmental milestones.

Person Specification – Graduate Early Years Practitioner

• A 2:1 degree or above is essential in Early Childhood Studies, Education, Psychology or a related subject.

• A genuine interest in early years education and child development.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A caring, patient and proactive approach.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Confidence supporting children with different learning and developmental needs.

• An understanding of safeguarding and children's welfare.

• Previous nursery experience is desirable but not essential.
