The Role – Graduate English Teaching Assistant

The Graduate English Teaching Assistant will work with Secondary pupils of varying abilities to develop their literacy skills, deliver structured intervention sessions, and help students succeed in key assessments. This may be a range of students across KS3, KS4 and A Level.

You'll play a pivotal role in boosting confidence and raising attainment, working with students on a one-to-one or small group basis and within classrooms alongside the class teacher.

This Graduate English Teaching Assistant position is ideal for aspiring English teachers seeking experience before enrolling on a PGCE.

Ideal Candidate – Graduate English Teaching Assistant

  • Degree in English, English Literature, English Language, Creative Writing or related subject area (2:2 minimum)
