The Role : As a Trainee English Teacher, you will :

• Train to become a qualified secondary English teacher
• Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in developing their reading, writing, and communication skills
• Inspire a love of English Language and Literature through engaging classroom teaching
• Work closely with experienced teachers and mentors to develop outstanding classroom practice
• Deliver intervention sessions and targeted support to help students reach their full potential
• Assist with lesson planning, assessment, and curriculum delivery
• Build the confidence, skills, and expertise required to become an exceptional teacher
• Progress through a structured training programme leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Who We're Looking For : Applications are welcomed from graduates who have:

• A First-Class or 2:1 degree in English, English Literature, English Language, or a closely related subject
• Strong subject knowledge and excellent academic credentials (A-Levels and GCSEs)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for education and helping young people succeed
• Confidence, resilience, and a willingness to learn

• Full right to work in the UK

Previous school experience is advantageous but not essential.
