Do you have the kind of English degree that deserves to be heard, not hidden?
Can you bring literature to life and help students find their voice, sharpen their thinking, and write with purpose?
Are you ready to step into a classroom and own it from day one, not observe from the back?
This is a standout opportunity for a high-calibre English graduate to step directly into a full teaching role within a top-performing secondary school in North West London. Designed for those with both academic strength and presence, this role offers the chance to teach, lead, and develop rapidly in a school where standards are unapologetically high.
About the School
This is a school where focus is sharp, behaviour is exceptional, and outcomes are consistently strong. With GCSE English results outperforming national averages, the school has built a reputation for academic discipline and excellence.
The English department is central to this success—driven, well-structured, and committed to delivering a curriculum that develops analytical precision, creative expression, and deep literary understanding. Students are encouraged not just to pass exams, but to think critically and communicate powerfully.
Staff are supported by a leadership team that values clarity, consistency, and professional growth, with a strong track record of developing graduates into highly effective, confident teachers.

What You’ll Gain
- Immediate experience as a fully responsible classroom teacher
