Graduate Early Years Learning Support Assistant

Birmingham | Full-time | September start

Salary: £20,000-£25,000, term time only

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic GraduateEarly Years Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Birmingham from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced EYFS practitioner, Teaching Assistant, or graduate with a passion for supporting young children during the most important stages of their development.

The Role

  • Support children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) classroom.
  • Assist with the delivery of engaging, creative and play-based learning activities.
  • Work with individuals and small groups to support learning and development.
  • Help create a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment.
  • Support children's social, emotional and communication development.
  • Work closely with teachers and parents to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds a 2:1 or higher degree in Early Childhood Studies or a related subject.
  • Has experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.
  • Possesses a warm, patient and nurturing approach.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Understands the importance of safeguarding and child development.
  • Is passionate about helping every child reach their full potential.
