Your Role as a Graduate EYFS Teaching Assistant:

  • Support class teachers in delivering play-based, engaging lessons
  • Assist in key early learning areas such as phonics, numeracy, and communication
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to help children progress
  • Help maintain a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
  • Encourage children’s independence and creativity through hands-on activities
  • Support the social, emotional, and physical development of young learners
  • Assist with daily routines, observations, and positive behaviour reinforcement
  • Get involved in wider school activities, enrichment programmes, and school events

Graduate EYFS Teaching Assistant - What We’re Looking For:

  • A 2:1 degree or above in Early Childhood Studies, Education, Psychology, or a related subject
  • A genuine interest in early years education and helping children flourish
  • Some experience working with children (formal or informal) is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills and a patient, caring attitude
  • A proactive, enthusiastic mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
  • A clear ambition to pursue a career in education, teaching, or child development
