Your Role as a Graduate EYFS Teaching Assistant:
- Support class teachers in delivering play-based, engaging lessons
- Assist in key early learning areas such as phonics, numeracy, and communication
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to help children progress
- Help maintain a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
- Encourage children’s independence and creativity through hands-on activities
- Support the social, emotional, and physical development of young learners
- Assist with daily routines, observations, and positive behaviour reinforcement
- Get involved in wider school activities, enrichment programmes, and school events
Graduate EYFS Teaching Assistant - What We’re Looking For:
- A 2:1 degree or above in Early Childhood Studies, Education, Psychology, or a related subject
- A genuine interest in early years education and helping children flourish
- Some experience working with children (formal or informal) is desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication skills and a patient, caring attitude
- A proactive, enthusiastic mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
- A clear ambition to pursue a career in education, teaching, or child development
