A fantastic opportunity has opened for an enthusiastic Humanities graduate to join a successful secondary school in Liverpool as a Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant. This full-time, long-term position offers the perfect springboard into a career in education, giving you the chance to develop your skills, inspire students, and work alongside experienced teachers.
Key Details – Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant:
- Full-time role: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm, term-time only
- Competitive weekly pay: Up to £560
- Start date: September 2025
- Support students in Key Stages 3 and 4 during Humanities lessons and small group interventions
- Work closely with subject teachers and pastoral teams to boost engagement and progress
Candidate Requirements:
- A 2:1 or above in a Humanities-based degree (History, Geography, RE, Politics, Sociology, etc.)
- Genuine passion for education and working with young people
- Previous experience supporting children or teenagers (paid or voluntary) is an advantage, but not essential
- Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
