We’re looking for a Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join a dynamic secondary school in Birmingham. In this role, you’ll provide tailored support to students with a range of academic abilities, helping them build confidence, overcome barriers to learning, and reach their full potential.

Graduate Learning Support Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with learning difficulties or additional needs.
- Assist in implementing individualized learning plans, helping students meet their academic goals.
- Support classroom activities, ensuring students stay engaged and focused.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment where every student feels valued.
- Work closely with teachers to monitor student progress, providing feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
- Help develop lesson materials and resources that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Assist with classroom management and support behaviour strategies to create a productive learning environment.
Graduate Learning Support Assistant Key Requirements:
- A 2:1 degree or higher.
- A genuine passion for supporting students and helping them succeed academically.
- Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting students with diverse learning needs.
- A desire to pursue a career in education, particularly in special educational needs or teaching support.
