An outstanding secondary school in West London is seeking a compassionate and ambitious Graduate Learning Support Assistant to join its dedicated inclusion team from September 2026.

The Role

As a Graduate Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with students who have a range of additional learning needs, including:

  • Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
  • ADHD
  • Dyslexia and literacy difficulties
  • Speech and Language needs
  • Mild to Moderate Learning Difficulties
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one and small-group support
  • Assisting students within mainstream lessons
  • Delivering targeted academic interventions
  • Supporting the implementation of EHCP targets
  • Helping students develop confidence, independence, and resilience
  • Working alongside teachers, SENCOs, and specialist staff
  • Monitoring progress and celebrating student achievements

Who We're Looking For

This role is ideal for graduates from Psychology, Education, Sociology, Criminology, Childhood Studies, Health & Social Care, or related disciplines.

Successful applicants will demonstrate:

  • A minimum 2:1 degree
  • Genuine passion for supporting young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience
  • Interest in SEND, inclusion, teaching, or therapeutic careers

Previous experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential.
