About the Role: Graduate Learning Support Assistant

  • Full-time, term-time role commencing September 2026
  • Earn up to £540 per week
  • Monday-Friday, 32.5 hours per week

  • Collaborate with experienced teachers and support staff to foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment

In this rewarding position, you'll play an important role in helping pupils flourish both inside and outside the classroom. From strengthening academic skills to building confidence and independence, you'll provide the encouragement and targeted support pupils need to engage with learning and make meaningful progress.

Working alongside teachers and the wider support team, you'll help deliver focused interventions and create an environment where every pupil feels supported, understood, and empowered to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalised 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional learning needs
  • Support teachers with the preparation and delivery of engaging classroom activities
  • Help pupils develop socially, emotionally, and academically
  • Adjust learning approaches to suit individual strengths, needs, and learning styles
  • Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to monitor and encourage pupil progress

What We're Looking For

  • A graduate with a 2:1 or above in Psychology, Education, or a related subject
  • A real enthusiasm for helping children and young people thrive
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal abilities
  • An interest in SEN, child development, educational psychology, or teaching
  • A proactive, patient, and supportive approach to working with pupils
