An ambitious and high-achieving secondary school in Brent is looking to appoint an exceptional Graduate Maths Academic Mentor to join its outstanding Mathematics department this September.

As a Graduate Maths Academic Mentor, you will become a key part of the school's intervention programme, helping students overcome challenges, build confidence and achieve results beyond their expectations. Your passion for mathematics and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly will have a direct impact on pupils preparing for GCSEs, A-Levels and university.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver one-to-one and small group Maths intervention sessions.
- Support students preparing for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
- Work alongside experienced Maths teachers during engaging classroom lessons.
- Stretch and challenge high-achieving pupils aiming for top grades.
- Help identify learning gaps and develop tailored support strategies.
- Encourage resilience, problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Become a positive academic role model across the school.

- A 2:1 or First-Class degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
- Strong A-Level and GCSE Mathematics credentials.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
