• A 2:1 or higher in Maths, Physics, Engineering, or a related subject from a Russell Group university
• Excellent A-level and GCSE results, particularly in STEM subjects
• Confident, articulate, and comfortable working with secondary-age pupils
• Organised and proactive, with a strong sense of initiative
• A collaborative team player who’s also able to work independently
• A genuine interest in education and supporting students from diverse backgrounds

Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant – The Role

• Support students in Maths through one-to-one and small group interventions
• Assist teachers in planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons
• Help track student progress and adapt support strategies accordingly
• Build positive relationships with pupils, encouraging confidence and resilience
• Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment activities
