Graduate Mathematics Teaching Assistant
• Full-time, long-term position starting from September 2025
• Earn up to £550 per week as a Graduate Mathematics Teaching Assistant
• Exciting secondary school located in Liverpool – single-site placement
• Support students in 1-1 or small group settings who are struggling to reach their mathematical potential
• Applicants should hold a 2:1 or above in a Mathematics-related degree
• Excellent grasp of core mathematical concepts is essential
• Previous experience preferred but not essential
• Work closely with experienced Maths practitioners and learn from outstanding educators
• In-house teacher training opportunities available from 2026

KPI Education are currently working in partnership with a high-achieving secondary school in Liverpool. The school has a strong academic track record and is committed to raising attainment in Mathematics across all year groups. They are looking to enhance their provision by bringing in a Graduate Mathematics Teaching Assistant to provide focused academic support.
As a Graduate Mathematics Teaching Assistant, your role will involve working with students who may lack confidence in Maths or need additional guidance to keep up with the curriculum. You may also work with high-achieving pupils who are preparing for university entrance, supporting them with extension activities and mentoring.
The ideal Graduate Mathematics Teaching Assistant will have a solid academic background and a genuine passion for helping others succeed. You will need a strong understanding of GCSE and A-Level Maths content, and the ability to communicate clearly and positively with students.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who is looking to gain vital classroom experience before undertaking teacher training. The school is offering long-term progression routes, with in-house teacher training available from 2026 for candidates who demonstrate potential.
