Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant – Up to £550 per week
Location: Birmingham Secondary School
Start Date: Immediate or September 2025

We’re working with a progressive and inclusive secondary school in Birmingham to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant. Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting students in KS3 and KS4 Maths lessons
- Providing 1:1 and small group academic support
- Assisting with lesson planning, classroom resources, and behaviour management
- Helping pupils develop problem-solving and numerical reasoning skills
- Promoting a positive and engaging learning environment for Maths
- Supporting GCSE Maths preparation and exam readiness
- Working collaboratively with staff to implement tailored learning strategies
Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:
- A 2:1 degree or above in Mathematics or a closely related subject
- Strong academic background and a genuine enthusiasm for Maths education
- Experience working with young people is desirable
- Clear, confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- A passion for helping students reach their potential
- Keen interest in pursuing a career in teaching or education
