Graduate Pastoral Teaching Assistant – The Opportunity

  • Join a nurturing SEN school as a Graduate Pastoral Teaching Assistant in Sheffield
  • Full-time role starting in September 2025 (early start possible)
  • Earn up to £650 per week while making a real difference
  • Support students aged 16+ with complex SEN needs and speech & communication challenges
  • Provide academic and emotional support to help pupils develop life skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to deliver holistic care
  • Work with external professionals including speech & language therapists and educational psychologists

Who we're looking for – Graduate Pastoral Teaching Assistant

  • A 2:1 or higher degree in Psychology, Health & Social Care, Education, or similar
  • Passionate about supporting SEN students and their personal development
  • A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach to working with vulnerable young people
  • Experience in a support or care setting is desirable
  • A genuine interest in pastoral care and long-term commitment to making an impact
  • A driving licence is beneficial, though not essential
