Graduate PE Trainee Teacher – The Role

As a Graduate PE Trainee Teacher, you will embark on a carefully structured training programme starting in September 2025. You’ll begin with a reduced timetable, allowing time to observe experienced teachers, develop lesson plans, and build rapport with students.

With the ongoing support of a dedicated subject mentor, your responsibilities will grow as your confidence and skills develop. By the end of the academic year, you will be delivering high-quality PE lessons independently and contributing to extracurricular sports and enrichment activities.

You will finish the programme ready to begin your teaching career with QTS awarded by July 2026.
