Your Profile - Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant:
Essential Requirements:
- 2:1+ degree in any subject (Education, Psychology, English, Maths particularly valued)
- Exceptional literacy and numeracy skills - ability to support learning across all primary subjects
- Outstanding communication - engaging naturally with children aged 4-11 and building rapport with parents/staff
- Emotional intelligence - patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations
- Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship not available)
Highly Desirable:
- Previous experience with children (volunteering, tutoring, sports coaching, childcare)
- Multilingual abilities to support diverse pupil populations
- Creative skills (art, music, drama) to enhance learning experiences
- Understanding of child development and primary curriculum frameworks
- First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
