Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant: Your Role
As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1-1 and small group support, helping children grasp mew concepts and grow in confidence
- Assist teacher in creating engaging lessons and resources that inspire curiosity
- Support children with SEND and additional needs, adapting learning so every pupil can shine
- Help nurture pupils social, emotional and behavioural development with positivity and care
- Be involved in the day-to-day magic of primarily life, from phonics and reading groups to art projects and science experiments.
Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant: Candidate Specification
We’re on the lookout for an exceptional Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant who:
- Educated to degree level 2:1 or above in Education, English, Psychology or related field from a Top-30 or Russell Group University
- Passionate about education, child development, or a future career in teaching or Psychology
- Confident communicators with a positive and proactive attitude
- Previous experience working with children (tutoring, volunteering, mentoring, summer camps, etc.) is desirable but not essential
