The Role – Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant

The Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant will work in an EYFS, KS1 or KS2 classroom alongside the classroom teacher, helping pupils progress across several subject areas.

You’ll play a pivotal role in boosting confidence, ensuring students’ needs are met and curating an inclusive, positive learning environment where each child can thrive.

This Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant position is ideal for aspiring Primary teachers, Educational Psychologist or Child Psychologists seeking experience before progressing on PGCE’s or further training.

Ideal Candidate – Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant

  • Degree in any subject area; Education, Psychology, Early Years, Early Childhood or other Social Sciences are preferred but NOT essential

  • Strong communicator with empathetic and patient nature
  • Professional, committed, and proactive
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
