A friendly and forward-thinking primary school in Bury is looking to appoint a driven Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant to start straight away, with the role running through to the end of the academic year.

The Role – Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant

  • Full-time Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant position, starting ASAP
  • Term-time only, Monday to Friday (32.5 hours per week)
  • Weekly earnings between £500–£560
  • Ideal for graduates with a 2:1 or above
  • Particularly suited to Education, Psychology, or core subject graduates
  • Opportunity to support pupils across different year groups
  • Immediate interviews available

What You’ll Be Doing

In your role as a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, you’ll support teaching and learning across the classroom, helping pupils stay engaged and on track.

You’ll work closely with teachers to deliver targeted support, both one-to-one and in small groups, helping children build key skills and overcome learning barriers. The Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant will also play a key role in boosting pupil confidence, encouraging participation, and supporting positive behaviour.
