Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Do:
- Support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
- Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions (academic, emotional, social)
- Work closely with children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs
- Assist with classroom learning and inclusive teaching strategies
- Encourage positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and resilience
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
- Engage children through therapeutic and play-based activities
Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:
- A 2:1 degree (or higher) in Psychology or a related subject
- Strong interest in child development and inclusive education
- Experience working with children or young people (schools, tutoring, youth work, SEN)
- Excellent communication skills, empathy, and patience
- Energetic, proactive, and committed to making a difference
- Career ambitions in teaching, educational psychology, or mental health support
