About the Role

As a School Sports Coach, you will work alongside experienced PE and Games staff to deliver high-quality coaching across a range of sports and age groups.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering coaching sessions during curriculum and extracurricular sport
• Supporting school teams during fixtures and competitions
• Assisting with sports events, tournaments and school activities
• Promoting participation, teamwork and sporting excellence
• Mentoring pupils and acting as a positive role model
• Supporting wider school initiatives and pastoral programmes
• Contributing to the vibrant life of the school community

Who We're Looking For

The successful candidate will be:

• A graduate in Sports Science, Physical Education, Coaching, or a related subject
• Passionate about working with young people
• Confident delivering coaching sessions across one or more sports
• An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Enthusiastic, reliable and highly professional
• Committed to making a positive contribution to school life
• Considering a long-term career in education, coaching or teaching

Previous experience working with young people, sports clubs, academies, schools or community programmes would be advantageous but is not essential.
