As a Graduate Science Technician, you'll play a vital part in keeping a busy and well-resourced science department running smoothly. From preparing experiments to maintaining laboratory equipment, you'll ensure that every practical lesson is safe, well-equipped, and ready to go — giving students and teachers the best possible environment to learn and teach.

This isn't a back-room role — you'll be a valued and visible member of the science department every day.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • A good understanding of health and safety procedures in a laboratory setting
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a laboratory or school environment
  • Familiarity with COSHH regulations and lab safety procedures
