KPI Education are working with a number of successful and inclusive secondary schools across Liverpool, who are looking to recruit Graduate Secondary Teaching Assistants for September starts. Opportunities are available across a range of subject departments, including Maths, English, Science, Humanities, and other core curriculum areas.
These full-time, long-term positions are ideal for graduates seeking meaningful school-based experience while developing the skills and confidence required for a future career in education.
Key Details: Graduate Secondary Teaching Assistant
- Full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm, term-time only
- Earn up to £560 per week
- September 2026 start available across numerous Liverpool secondary schools
- Opportunities within Maths, English, Science, Humanities, and other core subject departments
- Provide in-class support, targeted interventions, and 1:1 academic mentoring
- Support pupils in raising attainment, building confidence, and developing positive learning habits
- A 2:1 degree or above in a core subject or related discipline is preferred
- Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in education are essential
- Previous experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential
- Excellent preparation for teacher training, educational psychology, and wider education careers
