  • Graduate SEN Learning Support Assistant
  • Full-time, long-term role starting ASAP – running for the rest of the academic year initially
  • Opportunity for role to extend from September
  • Earn up to £470 per week as a Graduate Learning Support Assistant
  • Monday-Friday, 32 hours per week. Term-time only
  • Fantastic inclusive school located near Huyton, Liverpool
  • Work 1-to-1 and in small group settings with pupils with additional needs
  • Perfect experience for aspiring teachers, education psychologists or speech and language therapists
  • Graduates with an Education, Psychology or core subject related degree welcome to apply
  • Previous SEN experience preferred but not essential
  • Interviews and trial days available immediately

As a Graduate SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to promote personalisation of learning and support given to each student. The school have designated learning areas and a devoted team that aim to provide the best possible learning experiences for students with additional needs. There is a close-knit team of Learning Support Assistants who work closely with the SENCO to utilise their skills and knowledge in the best way possible.

This school is located near Huyton – it is commutable from Liverpool city centre and Knowsley borough by car or public transport. There is also a large car park for staff to use. The school is within a deprived area and elcome a diverse range of students through the door – it is an exciting and rewarding place to work and has been recognised by the local community for the progress they have made. Although previous SEN experience is preferred, the school also offers bespoke training and is looking for the right type of character to join them – someone passionate and willing to get stuck in.

The school are looking to start the right candidate ASAP in order to have enough time to create a positive relationship with the students and become an important part of the support team. The role will run for the rest of the academic year initially with a view to continuing this from September.
