Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
• Full-time, long-term role starting in September 2025
• Earn up to £530 per week as a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
• Work in a specialist SEN school in Liverpool – single location placement
• Support students with a range of additional needs including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
• Applicants should hold a 2:1 or above in a relevant degree (Psychology, Education, or related fields preferred)
• Must have prior experience working with individuals with SEN (formal or informal experience considered)
• A patient, empathetic, and resilient mindset is essential
• Work closely with experienced SEN professionals and multidisciplinary teams
• Opportunity to access teacher training routes from 2026
• Interviewing throughout June!

The school is looking to recruit a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant who can bring energy, understanding, and a commitment to inclusive education.
As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, your role will involve supporting students both in and out of the classroom, working closely with class teachers and support staff to provide tailored interventions. You will need to be flexible and responsive, as each student has their own unique learning profile and needs.
The ideal Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant will have a genuine interest in SEN education and will ideally have some experience working with children or young people who require additional support. This could be through previous school work, volunteering, care work, or family experience.
This role is perfect for a graduate who is considering a long-term career in education, educational psychology, speech and language therapy, or SEN teaching. For the right Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, there are clear routes into formal teacher training starting from 2026.
