We’re partnering with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Birmingham to recruit a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant. This full-time, long-term role is perfect for a compassionate and enthusiastic graduate eager to support children with a range of additional needs in a vibrant classroom setting.

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, or learning difficulties
- Assisting the class teacher in adapting lesson plans and classroom activities
- Encouraging social, emotional, and academic development through targeted interventions
- Promoting a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment
- Helping pupils build confidence, independence, and positive relationships
- Monitoring progress and sharing feedback with teachers and SENCOs
- Supporting play-based learning and contributing to school-wide SEN strategies
Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:
- A 2:1 degree or higher in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, or a related field
- A genuine interest in SEN support and inclusive education
- Previous experience working with children or young people is highly desirable
- Strong empathy, patience, and communication skills
- A proactive, flexible, and supportive attitude
- Aspiration to work in education, SEN, child psychology, or therapy
