Are you a recent graduate with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

A number of welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary and secondary schools in Enfield are currently seeking Graduate SEN Teaching Assistants to support students with a range of needs, including autism, speech & language difficulties, and ADHD. These full-time roles offer an exceptional opportunity to develop your professional skills, work alongside experienced professionals, and make a meaningful difference in young people’s lives.
Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – The Role:
- Full-time, long-term position – perfect for the academic year
- Earn up to £600 per week | Monday to Friday | Term-time only
- Based in mainstream schools across Enfield, supporting students with SEN
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
- Assist teachers in implementing EHCPs and personalised learning strategies
- Support students with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and social development
- Work alongside SENCOs, teachers, and external specialists (e.g., therapists and psychologists)
- Encourage independence, engagement, and confidence in the classroom
Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Candidate Profile:
We are looking for graduates who are:
- Holding a 2:1 or above in Psychology, Education, Health & Social Care, or a related subject
- Empathetic, patient, and resilient, with a strong interest in SEN and inclusive education
- Confident communicators who can build positive relationships with students and staff
- Ideally experienced in working with children or young people (e.g., through tutoring, mentoring, volunteering, or care work)
- Flexible and proactive, with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
