Up to £600 per week | Immediate Start | Ideal for Psychology or Education Graduates

Are you a recent graduate with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

Are you considering a future career in educational psychology, speech and language therapy, or inclusive education, and looking to gain hands-on experience in a school setting?

A number of welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary and secondary schools in Ealing are currently seeking Graduate SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, speech & language difficulties, and ADHD. These full-time roles offer an excellent opportunity to build your professional skills, work alongside experienced practitioners, and make a lasting difference in young people’s lives.

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – The Role:

  • Full-time, long-term position – ideal for the academic year.
  • Earn up to £600 per week | Monday to Friday | Term-time only.
  • Based in mainstream schools across Ealing, supporting students with SEN.
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a variety of learning and behavioural needs.
  • Assist teachers in delivering EHCP targets and tailored learning strategies.
  • Support pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour, and social skills development.
  • Work closely with SENCOs, class teachers, and external specialists (e.g., speech therapists, educational psychologists).
  • Help promote independence, confidence, and active engagement in learning.

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Candidate Profile:

We are looking for graduates who are:

  • Holding a 2:1 or above in Psychology, Education, Health & Social Care, or a related field.
  • Empathetic, patient, and committed to inclusive education.
  • Strong communicators who can build rapport with both students and staff..
  • Ideally have some experience working with children or young people (e.g., tutoring mentoring, volunteering, or support work).
  • Proactive, flexible, and eager to learn within a classroom environment.
