A diverse and exciting primary school in Bolton is looking to appoint a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with ADHD, ASD, and a range of additional SEN needs. This is a full-time role starting immediately, offering valuable exposure to SEN, behaviour support, and mental health in an educational setting.
What’s on offer:
- Full-time Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role (Monday–Friday) Starting ASAP
- Earn between £500 - £560 per week
- Based in a diverse and caring primary school in Bolton
- Training and mentoring directly from an experienced SENDCo
- Exposure to a wide range of SEN and behaviour strategies

Ideal Candidate – Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
- Minimum 2:1 degree (Psychology and Education graduates preferred)
- Empathetic, patient, and able to build meaningful relationships with children
- Strong communication and emotional intelligence
- Previous experience supporting children (tutoring, SEN work, youth work) is highly desirable
- Motivated to pursue a career related to SEN, mental health, or education
- Must have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be part of a team providing exceptional education to pupils with additional needs, helping them become confident and thrive in their development.
As aGraduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and other teaching assistants to implement approaches that help children overcome learning challenges. Beyond everyday classroom responsibilities, you'll deliver targeted support through one-to-one sessions and small group work, helping students make progress both academically and socially while equipping them with essential skills for success.
