A welcoming mainstream primary school in Bury is seeking a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team, supporting pupils with ADHD, ASD, and a variety of other SEN needs. This full-time role starts immediately and provides valuable hands-on experience in SEN support, behaviour management, and mental health within a school setting.

Ideal Candidate – Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

  • Minimum 2:1 degree (Psychology and Education graduates preferred)
  • Empathetic, patient, and able to build meaningful relationships with children
  • Strong communication and emotional intelligence
  • Previous experience supporting children (tutoring, SEN work, youth work) is highly desirable
  • Motivated to pursue a career related to SEN, mental health, or education
  • Must have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
