A friendly and inclusive primary school in Salford is looking to appoint a graduate SEN Teaching assistant to join their on-site support team as soon as possible. This full-time role will continue for the remainder of the academic year and offers the chance to play a meaningful role in supporting pupils’ progress and wellbeing.

Ideal Applicant Profile
• Minimum 2:1 degree (Psychology, Education, or related subject preferred)
• Genuine interest in inclusive education
• Calm, patient, and resilient nature
• Confident working one-to-one with pupils
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Previous experience with children or SEN is beneficial but not required
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK
In this role, as a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with an experienced class teacher to deliver personalised learning activities, encourage positive communication, and support pupils with emotional regulation and classroom engagement. You will also collaborate with the school’s SENDCo to identify barriers to learning and contribute to effective strategies that promote inclusion and sustained progress.
This Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant position offers valuable, hands-on exposure to SEN practice within a mainstream primary setting.
